 I am a landlord having issues with my tenant. I am in a situation where landlord is the victim. Yes, such scenarios does very much happen even though the media may paint a contrary picture. I spoke with Rachel Gibbons from "Horlick Levitt Di Lella LLP". I had an initial 30 minutes free consultation. She offered me the options that are available to me. She listened to my suggestions and gave her professional opinion on it, and advised me as to what are some of the next steps I can take. Prior to speaking with Rachel, I had already had 3 free consults (2 of them were lawyers and the 3rd one was a paralegal). Two of them told me they are sorry that I am stuck with a bad tenant and there is nothing they could do for me, and third one sounded as if they were representing the tenant. When I asked her about fees, she explained all the terms and charges clearly. She also gave me multiple options. (The whole spectrum most expensive to least). Just because I had the consult with her, she did not pressure me to choose her services if need be. I told Rachel that the initial consult (which was 28 minutes and 57 seconds) was very informative, and I feel bad if I just get off the phone not paying a penny. Rachel was more than happy to have helped and let me know that it's a privilege every client of "Horlick Levitt Di Lella LLP" gets.
