I hired susan to represent me in my divorce..she was professional, well informed and compassionate to my needs..she tried her best to resolve my conflict without breaking me financially and getting a resolution the cheapest way possible . I couldn't pay her in full so she was patient and empathic and allowed me to pay as much as I could and even deferred a monthly payment at Christmas so I could enjoy Christmas..professional., strong, well educated, compassionate and not only a good lawyer as well a good person .I would defenitely hire her if I needed help again

Susan was incredibly helpful. She was extremely quick to respond. She gave me practical options to consider, and set realistic expectations about what a lawsuit would look like. She was even kind enough to respond quickly to a couple of follow up questions I had via email. Susan is personable, kind and empathetic while being incredibly practical and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Susan! She really helped me feel at peace and helped me move on to a better future.

When someone posts a negative comment on google review about me that is not true, I have no opportunity to respond directly to that comment. For instance, Amy Enns recently posted a negative comment saying she spent "thousands" of dollars for me to conduct a mediation and I produced a separation agreement that was "full of errors". I have never been involved in a mediation with Amy Enns and further, Amy Enns has never paid me thousands of dollars. When we refused to provide legal services to her, she wrote a negative review. Similarly, other negative comments are posted by individuals who have never been my clients, but instead were on the opposite side against me in lawsuits, but they don't say so in their posts. I see a post by Jaxon Keller who is a child, the subject of an ongoing dispute between the parents. The child did not post the review accusing me of being rude and unprofessional. Instead, the parent against whom I acted in court posted this negative review in the name of the child. Sometimes when someone comes in for an initial consultation, they don't like to hear what a lawyer has to say about their case. We charge $276 + tax = $300 for an initial one hour consultation. When someone emails me a ton of documents and expects me to read those documents prior to our initial consultation, I have to let them know the time it takes for me to read their documents will be included in the one hour consultation making the face to face time much shorter, or they can pay for additional time, but the reading time is not provided free. Lawyers, like all other people, do not work for free. I have also noticed a few negative google reviews from people I have never even met such as Steve B, Cory Ferguson and Mr. Docalou. Anyone can have an off day and sometimes criticism is warrented and useful. But a negative review posted by someone I have never met is not very useful. Despite some of these unfair comments about me, it lightens my heart to see that not one of my actual clients in 32 years for whom I have done more than an initial consultation has ever complained about or posted a negative comment about the legal services I have provided to them. Take note - negative comments posted on google review may not be true and might be posted by individuals who have never been our clients. Thank you for reading this.

Reflecting back, Susan has helped me for the past 2 years when I sought legal advice. She was the right person to skillfully move several complex and challenging situations through to resolution. It has taken time and consultations to finalize these matters in a way that avoided expensive lawsuits. With good listening skills, Susan clearly understood what was required. At times I felt somewhat ruffled and scrutinized with her pursuit of understanding the details of these legal matters and I am grateful for my meetings with her. She accurately communicated with the other parties in order to obtain a fair outcome. I am very satisfied with with her and will seek her counsel again if needed.
