Sophie Perron

Sophie s’est jointe à IMK en 2000. Elle agit pour des grandes entreprises aussi bien que des individus. Elle a piloté des dossiers exigeants en termes de durée, d’envergure, d’enjeux nouveaux et d’aspects techniques ou scientifiques. Elle a participé à des arbitrages commerciaux. Elle cumule, en parallèle, de nombreuses années d’expérience comme administratrice et secrétaire corporative d’organismes sans but lucratif.

Over the past 21 years, Sophie has conducted many lengthy trials before the Superior Court, as well as pleading on several occasions before the Quebec Court of Appeal. She has represented clients in cases with media coverage and complex litigation in securities, construction law, real estate law, mining law and shareholders disputes. Her areas of practice cover contractual disputes, directors’ liability and administrative law.

Sophie joined IMK in 2000. She acts for large corporations as well as individuals alike. She has handled demanding cases in terms of duration, scope, novel issues and technical and scientific aspects. She has participated in commercial arbitration. She has all the while accumulated many years of experience as a director and corporate secretary for non-profit organizations.
