 I find it very difficult to rate the law office as Peter and Karen were fantastic to deal with. We have had other lawyers who are definitely more available but Peter was able to communicate clearly what we needed to do each step of the way. Where it all fell apart for us was his paralegal, Anjana. She was absolutely atrocious. Her communication was sub-par, her responses often took days to even very simple and time sensitive questions. She made the entire interaction more of a headache than it was worth. Peter and Karen were fantastic though. If there is another option for a paralegal in this office we would recommend you ask for them instead.

 I have sold 3 houses in Edmonton and worked with Peter Mason for this last sale. I am impressed by the attention given to my file and the friendly service. Anjana returned my emails very quickly and answered all of my questions. She even called me back when I didn't leave a message and apologized for missing my call! This was the most complicated sale of the three so I was worried there might be a mix up but everything went smoothly. Another big positive was I received my sale proceeds much, much faster than I have before. With another lawyer I had to make a few calls before receiving my funds and it was stressful but with Peter Mason's office, it was the same day that my house closed! I doubt that they can always provide funds the same day but I feel confident they make it a priority. The reason I left my previous lawyer was their bill ended up being much higher than the original quote. They quoted a flat fee + disbursements but I was invoiced for the flat fee + disbursements + additional charges. Although I did receive a partial refund for the additional charges, their office did not appreciate being questioned. The invoice I received from Peter Mason was exactly the same as the quote including taxes. It is so much nicer to have no surprises when it comes to the final bill and to pay a very reasonable flat fee. I appreciate the outstanding service I received from Peter Mason and Anjana. It was so much easier and faster working with them on my house sale and a lot less stress.
