Description | Neil is a committed family law and civil litigator with WMCZ. He delivers case-winning results through the courts, and positions his clients for advantageous settlement negotiations. He knows court can be confusing and scary to the uninitiated, and clearly explains the process and his strategy.
The roots of Neil’s passion for oral argument began as a student. While studying at Dalhousie University, he was a finalist at the Atlantic Canadian Debate Championships, represented Dalhousie at the World University Debate Championships in Ireland, and placed second in the country after competing in Toronto at the Bowman Tax Moot. He began practicing law in rural Saskatchewan, immediately stepping into the courtroom and gaining practical experience as a trial lawyer. Outside of the courtroom Neil is an avid musician. He plays several different instruments and writes music heavily influenced by 60’s pop. Also, no stranger to tabletop gaming, Neil will happily spend a Friday evening engrossed in a D&D campaign with friends. Neil is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Bar Association, and volunteers with CLASSIC. |
