Fantastic! This was my second time visiting Tikal and it was just as impressive as the first. I recommend that you go with a guide to more fully understand the things you're seeing.

 Magical! If anything, do the sunrise tour! It was one of the best experiences I've ever had! Exhilarating and oh so moving.

 Well worth the climb to the top, the history and the culture is fascinating to listen to. Modern day architecture could greatly learn from these ruins

 Magnificent experience in the heart of the Maya World. Palaces and temples relatively well kept and maintained. Negotiate the guides fees. Prices unrelated to quality but to the place where they are hired.

 One of the most special places on the planet. Walking through the lush rainforest to see stone temples creep into view is the closest many of us will come to the feeling of exploring a new frontier. Climbing those temples until you're high above the canopy to take in the sprawling view of Tikal is both uplifting and humbling.
