This company has proposed a $20.6 billion investment in Alberta. The people of Alberta would benefit greatly from this as their economy is recovering from a severe recession. The company says it would create more than 7000 jobs. The 14 Aboriginal bands around the proposed mine are all on board with the project. Teck Resources has also set a goal to be Carbon neutral across all operations by 2050.
