Stanford University, officially Leland Stanford Junior University,[12] is a private research university in Stanford, California. Stanford is known for its academic achievements, wealth, location within Silicon Valley, and selectivity; it ranks as one of the world's top universities.

 Very beautiful campus and the weather is almost always right for a walk around. Hike the dish for a beautiful view of the campus and the surrounding area. Also, get a bird's eye view of campus from Hoover tower.

 Stanford University campus is a great place to walk rollerblade or ride your bike. The campus is beautiful and well caps with several places to eat which are fairly priced.Parts of the campus are completely torn up right now they are doing a lots of maintenance and repairs while school is out. The museum is really nice as well I think they suggest a $5 donation but not required. There are lots of things and areas of interest to see around campus though I have lived in this area for 50 years or so I still discover new things when I explore the area.

 Nice and lovely campus. My friend who studied in East Coast wanted to visit here so we went and had a nice walk and lunch there. It was quite impressive campus and good experience. Loved the souvenir shop where I could get some Univ. stuff.

 Great Campus, Great Atmosphere, Great lecture halls, Great Professors. What else might keep students from making it in life in such a Great institution.
