Just short of 2 weeks before a critical hearing. We hectically interviewed a number of lawyers, and Alia stood out in the competition. I could not assess how much work went into those preparing those documents, but they were pensive and meticulously put together. Needless to say, we picked a winner.

 From the very fist phone conversation, Alia sharply stood out from every other immigration lawyer I'd spoken to in Canada; my options were clearly explained, the cost of services was transparent and affordable, every question I had was answered pragmatically, and above all, I felt like MY CASE MATTERED. At every step along the process of becoming a Permanent Resident, Alia would pick up or call back quickly whenever I had concerns. At various stages, the immigration administration, as well as the 3rd party service providers involved in gathering all required elements, proved to be unreliable, but Alia would always find a solution or know who to call so that we could understand what to expect. Judging by all the relaxed and smiling clients I'd be sitting next to in the reception area, I'd guess the treatment I received was nothing special; just a passionate professional doing what they do best in helping others get through a complicated and crucial legal process.
