 One of the good guys. Overestimated potential cost; so more than please with the final outcome. I was in a 27-year marriage and only had to pay for 4-years. My prior lawyer told me to sign for 10-years and didn’t know or mention what “double dip” meant. Gary even accommodated me on a Sunday. I couldn’t really ask for much more. Go to GDE Family Law!  I am happy with the result. He tells you up front, he can't set a price. It's not a tactic - it's so that you can review the bill, together if necessary. Gary also explains he has is reputation at stake as well - and will literally tell you ways to keep costs low should he have to go to Court, where many judges seem to know him by name. More than I wanted to spend. But got the job done and an every other weekend starting point from my wife's 22 year Australian trained lawyer (meaning didn't have the marks to get in in Canada and could do the LSAT or whatever it is called) - I needed someone who actually knew what he was doing on my side. 10 years of experience and only in family law is worth every penny.

 Cheaper isn't better. I met with Gary before I retained a more junior lawyer. Price was all I cared about. But the higher hourly rate can be a good sign. It's someone who knows what he or she is doing. Just go with Gary the first time. It would have saved me about $9,000.00. Too many bad everything in this town, and lawyers are no exception.

 Gary is great! He handled my matter fast and kept me in the know the whole time. I appreciate everything he did for me and my family.

 I would recommend Gary to anyone needing a family lawyer. He did an excellent job with my divorce!!
