As someone who knew nothing about estate law, or the law in general but wanted to take care of his Last Will & Testament and Power of Attorney, what started off as a chance passing by of his office with deceptively economical paper printed sign of a flat rate for both, wound up pleasantly surprising me and happy I didn't let a printed paper sign dissuade me from starting this process with Eb.
And while the the fact it actually took myself twice that long and twice as many drafts to really decide what I wanted my final arrangements was, a thing that was completely on me and my naievete (I prepared enough so that I intially thought that this process would only take 2 weeks and communicated as such) it is to his greatest credit of Eb, who made himself available as my lawyer throughout, even during the busy holiday season, was not at all dissauded at any point at giving me the time I needed and all the advice and services I needed, all without judgement and with more experience in what arrangement to consider over others, as throughout he kept patiently advising me and was always open to me taking my time to review and revise and reconsider. This was even after alot of unforseen extra requests and additions and clauses in my Last Will and Power of Attorneys, Eb always emphasized taking the time and as many drafts as possible to review until all understood and were satistified. All this for a set flat rate further impressed me with his commitment to service, something that greatly impressed me to the point that a part of me actually felt a little guilty for having him work for me so much for the flat rate that he quoted.
From the very start, not only was Eb a fine and knowledgable lawyer, but the fact that he and his office are more open beyond what anyone would expect from a lawyer, flexible enough to be available on a drop in basis, and most of all open to answering questions and accepting and communicating changes and entire revised drafts through e-mail, made it most convienient and effective. He actually took the extra time to understand exactly what you needed before he responded to you, the extra time between responses I felt was natural and very necessary with the nature of the law being based on very precise wording and clear unambiguous writing.
I would wholeheartedly recommend him as a lawyer, especially those in both notable his field of expertise as well as the other services he explicitly offers (e.g. estate planning), particularly for those who know what they need and want and need advice and services on such, and who want the flexibility beyond set appointments and who would appreciate being able to make changes and communication by e-mail, whenever one feels it needs to be communicated, a must in our busy, busy lives.
