I was referred by a couple of people to Marie G. Michaels & Associates while I started the process of of my separation. From the start, Jaspreet made me feel comfortable having him represent me. He went above and beyond to help me out wherever he could and advised me on every decision I made. He helped make the process as easy as it could be during this stressful time. To the staff that I dealt with outside of JP, they were nothing but amazing. They were always there to assist with a smile and just as helpful. I would highly recommend this firm. I plan on going back for a few other family matters in the future.
I would recommend any of the lawyers at Marie G. Michaels & Associates. I had a very complex family law case which was handled with compassion, competence and success. I went from planning my separation to a final divorce with a clear understanding of every step of the case. I was also very impressed by the way in which the lawyers and staff tried to save me money. They would explain what needed to be done and give me the option to do it myself rather than simply billing me for things like photocopying a trial book. I am glad that I was introduced to Marie Michaels and even though she is very busy, I would highly recommend her. She has excellent staff whom I used as go betweens when I couldn't reach Marie as quickly as I wanted, which also had the benefit of keeping costs down.
Marie updated our wills and Powers of Attorney with great sensitivity, patience and professionalism. She is very knowledgeable in family law and answered all our concerns and questions. Highly recommend her services.
I needed a lawyer to deal with a very stressful and personal family law matter. The dissolution of a 30-year marriage and the complexities of finalizing a separation agreement, as well as transferring the title of the matrimonial home in my name was challenging and quite alien. What a pleasant experience retaining Marie's firm, and working with competent legal counsel adept in family law. Stephanie Joe was great to deal with, accessible, and executed all documents in a timely manner. Her bio catch my attention writing for the Civil Liberties Association, which led me to Marie's office. Bottom line, the service was excellent, and the firms legal fee's are very reasonable.
