Summary Daniel is a partner in the Construction and Public-Private Infrastructure Projects Sector Groups of our Toronto office. Daniel was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2000 after articling with Borden & Elliot. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with his Bachelor of Laws degree. Daniel also has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Professional Experience Dan’s practice is concentrated in the areas of construction, surety, infrastructure and public-private partnerships. Dan’s practice involves representing owners, hospitals, government, surety bonding companies, general contractors, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and condominium corporations with respect to all manner of construction projects, infrastructure and alternative financing projects, litigation, alternate dispute resolution, drafting and negotiating contracts for hospital, industrial, and infrastructure projects, including Public/Private Partnerships, engineering, and supply contracts. Dan also represents hospitals, government, owners, developers, condominiums, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and surety companies, with respect to issues relating to surety bond claims, construction contracts, construction liens, trust claims, delay claims, insurance, litigation, dispute resolution, and claims in negligence arising from the performance of construction contracts.
