| Description | Cindy’s legal experience began in Toronto, Ontario, when she completed her articles at a large downtown firm. After joining our firm in 2010, Cindy has appeared in Court at both the Provincial Court and The Court of Queen’s Bench levels. Cindy also welcomes opportunities to settle matrimonial disputes out of Court using alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation, arbitration, or through negotiations.
Cindy enjoys working to find ways to resolve issues such as property division, spousal support, child support and custody with clients who are going through a separation or divorce. Her experience includes working with clients in either married or common law relationships to which she provides candid and practical advice. Cindy is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of Upper Canada (non-practicing) and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also a member of the Family Law subsection of the Canadian Bar Association. Cindy was a volunteer piano teacher in Ottawa while attending law school. She completed the Royal Conservatory of Music program in Piano Performance in 2008 and she enjoys playing and practicing whenever she can. Cindy is also fluent in Chinese, particularly in the Toi Shan dialect. |

There was a negative review done by my ex Robert Tarta about 8 months ago.
He now resorted to hijacking my name and anyone who he feels that is supporting me in this matter. May of this year an order was put in place to have Robert refrain from contacting or using social media to harass my lawyer Mr. Montoute or any opposing lawyers that are involved in this high conflict matter.
Nigel has been my counsel from day one and continues to be.
