Amelia Choi

Amelia represents Canada in the Presidential Task Force for SMEs and Entrepreneurship at the International Trademark Association (INTA) in 2018. She is currently the Chair of the IP Trade Policy Committee of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). She also serves in the INTA Commercialization of Brands Committee Leadership Team, as well as the Chair of the INTA Brand Growth Strategies for SMEs. She has always been very passionate about building partnership between Canadian municipalities, businesses, and institutions with those in other regions, especially in Asia. She has played an instrumental role as the only Canadian IP lawyer in several trade mission delegations to that region, and has successfully fostered bilateral partnership.

Prior to her legal pursuit, Amelia has held numerous senior corporate leadership positions in several Fortune 500 multinational high-tech and information technology companies, and has extensive R&D experience. She has a proven track record of building and leading global multi-disciplinary teams in successfully delivering multi-million dollar cutting edge technologies and end-to-end innovative business solutions.
