| Description | Michael joined Cavalluzzo as an associate in 2019 after articling with the firm. He practices primarily in the areas of Labour Law and Construction Labour Law.
Michael received his J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2018. During law school, he volunteered with Advocates for Injured Workers, a legal aid clinic specializing in workers’ compensation law, where he represented clients at all levels of appeal in front of the WSIB and WSIAT. He also volunteered with the employment division of Downtown Legal Services, where he represented clients in matters relating to wrongful dismissal, Employment Standards Act violations, and human rights. Michael was also co-director of the Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) Union-Side Labour Law Research Project. Prior to law school, Michael earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Anthropology from the University of Western Ontario where he was awarded the gold medal in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. |
