Marisa Lau

Marisa’s practice is enriched by her professional, academic and community experiences. Marisa was an active participant in the Osgoode Business Clinic, assisting business owners with drafting legal agreements and advising on incorporation. Her work experiences include unique internships with the provincial government and with a multi-national oil company. She also actively promoted access to legal services in the community by designing and conducting conflict resolution workshops, conflict-coaching and mediation at the Small Claims Court in the Jane and Finch community. Marisa also enjoyed volunteering with the Pro Bono Canada Family Law project.

Marisa is conversant in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and is active in the Chinese community.

Marisa obtained her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, and prior to that, a Bachelor of Commerce degree (B.Com) from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in Transportation and Logistics.
