Wait times at security - very brief. New technology now that allows for quicker walk-through prior to entering the screening area. The airport is always continuously improving! Lots of space and accessible.
Staff is friendly. Enough stores on departure level before security for last minute shopping or quick eats with family and/or friends. Much more after the security area near gates. Cleanliness- 5/5 stars.
Nice spacious airport that’s rather easy to navigate. The carpeted hallways make it comfortable and there’s plenty of seating all round. If vegan, you’ll definitely find some options in the fast food joints.
I spent a few hours waiting for my colleague to arrive from another flight and was very comfortable waiting. I believe I had easy wifi access too.
The best airport in Alberta, Security gates stay open till late so if you have an early flight you can get in till 2 am i believe. Lots of nice places to relax inside; a lot of good restaurants as well. Surprisingly advanced and up to date. The only downside is the car rental center that closes at 1 am. I wish they made it 24 hours for such a busy airport.
Security lines are never out of control. The airport is making many great improvements and getting better and better everyday. My only issue is that it seems whenever I arrive on a late evening flight and the airport is completely empty, the plane goes to the furthest gate away causing us to need to walk through the ghost town of an airport in the middle of the night.
From Check in, thru security and at my gate in less than 15 min. Nice to see the airport improvement fee is being used responsibly.
